What would you say if someone told you that you could end homelessness with a donation equal to the cost of your morning coffee? That $5 on coffee might be used for a bus pass to a job interview that results in a new job and apartment. Or that $10 that was used so mom could take her child to a physician specializing in asthma, or other chronic conditions that cause homeless children to miss school.
And just imagine how many meals can be served, computer classes taught, or utility bills paid with $1,000!
At Margaret's Village, our residents are given healthy meals and a safe and secure environment with case management and a variety of supportive services and programs to improve physical and mental health and develop skills necessary for independence. Our residents also complete educational and job training programs that enable them to become self-sufficient.
